What's up with Furry Network? by Sizalia
So, I guess there's another new art site now called Furry Network? Or is it even all that new? I have no idea.
Anyways, after this last big problem over at FurAffinity, I'm noticing artists there say they're heading for Furry Network.
Is there something to this site that's well-established, stable, or polished? Or is it just the new big shiny thing, so it's getting peoples' attention? And how many flipping sites are we supposed to be getting accounts for in order to follow our favorite artists? Tumblr's easy enough, but I have here and InkBunny where I follow several people. (aside from when I actually find the energy to produce my own art nowadays)
Seriously, what's the deal here?

Yeah someone on InkBunny also said its the new and shiny. I decided to check it out last night and.... that interface is horrendous. Like you aid its unintuitive, but I also find it to be very ugly looking. Definitely not someplace I want to upload art to. Bluh.

From what I can tell, it's simply the newest shiny thing. It has potential, because it is very shiny and has stuff set up to migrate your work from FA to Furry Network without a lot of hassle on your part. I mean, the last time big stuff happened to FA, everyone cried out that they were moving here, but it doesn't seem like this place actually got a HUGE influx of people sticking around or anything beyond those of us who decided to use it alongside the others.
Furry Network is very much still in beta, and I personally feel like it has interface problems because it is not really that intuitive. Something that I could get used to in time, I suppose. But yeah, by and large I think it's just the new Weasyl. A shiny new place to say you're going to run off to because FA's having a problem again. Maybe it'll stick this time, but who knows.
