So, last night sucked ass. In fact, pretty much the whole day after about 3pm sucked.
Around 3pm, while at work, I began experiencing an odd phenomenon.
Basically, I would have a feeling like I was slamming awake at random. Little gasp of air, little bit of racing heart...little bit of confusion...then back to "normal".
I finished my work shift while trying to deal with this...then went home...
...
...and went to the ER when things continued.
I got home at around 10:30 pm...with news that all my major vitals were good. No heart irregularities, no electrolyte imbalance, no head issues (they did a head CT and found a brain inside...little joke)...basically, they said everything was good.
So, I was discharged with a diagnosis of "dizziness" and possibly a virus...and tried to get to sleep afterwards.
Y'know...I died once before, so I know what that feels like...but there is something VERY scary about wondering if you'll wake up the next morning or not. I was legitimately afraid I would not wake up today...and I do feel relieved that I did.
Follow-up is on Monday with my doc (earliest I could schedule it).
Stressed foxie is stressed. -.-
