January to March:

• Get the rest of the stuff needed for Nerf mod. Nope.
• Do “Something” for Biff in February. Eyup.
• Start redesigning my main website. Nope.

It’s been a weird first quarter. Thanks to wonky weather patters and my inability to find the fabric I need for what I want to try, the Nerf mod stalled. By the by, I guess the name for it is Lacing? All I remember is it’s an old car painting technique that works well and comes out pretty badass when done right.

Biff’s 10th Anniversary came and went. I dug up the original strips from Vol.1 (including some I thought were gone for good), cleaned everything up and updated the text/balloon placement a bit. I did this ‘cause I said some time back that I’d do it. I know that other cartoonists will go back and completely redo their earlier strips. Me? I’ll fix the text but leave the art alone as much as possible. I’m a fan of seeing folks’ rough beginnings. = )

As for redesigning my main site: Ha! Yeah… it slipped my mind. Not gonna’ lie, I’m more than happy to work on other folks’ sites (It’s my job every so often) but I don’t know why it feels like such a chore doing it for my own. I think it’s ‘cause I know what I need and I know I can pretty much play around to my heart’s content. It’s that whole idea of too many choices. I know I need something fresher than what I got that’s easy enough to update if/when I do something new. I also need something a bit more in-line with modern standards and more mobile-friendly. I have the skills to build it, too. Just gotta’ do it.

Now for the all important part…

April to June:

• Try to get enough funds saved to make it out to some summer conventions.

Two old goals and a new one! I know my friends REALLY want to get out to places like WWPhilly and other such cons. They also want me to go with them. It’s not a great time when your funds get drained by server costs and other necessary-yet-unfun bills around the same time as said conventions. The plan is to spin up production higher than bills can drain my account. If you want, you can help out in a bunch of different ways. Just check the (Link) for details.
