So once, one of my Mum's boyfriends went mental and was next seen walking down the street, in broad daylight, wearing nothing but a black bin bag, having spent the night in someone's garden. He was 6ft 2".

So, one time, I tried to tell my boyfriend's father that I thought his son was a real meat head.
His dad replies, "Oh, I used to be the same way when I was his age! I used to eat hamburgers 3-4 times a day!"
I just stood there, slack jawed. I couldn't grasp if he was trying to be funny, or didn't understand what I meant. His expression and tone lead me to believe he was being genuine.
Boyfriend just chuckled and patted my back, telling me to let it be.
