Commissions are open by Malachyte

Note: I am currently taking a break from reference sheets and character creation. All previous submissions for these types of commissions have been cleared. Sorry for the inconvenience, but I need break!

The commission pool is open for name submissions! I did a small test run of this method over the last month and a half or so, and it seems to be going okay so far. It's essentially like drawing names from a hat.

Here's the quick and dirty of how it works:
1. Check commission availability.
2. Fill out the preliminary form to put your name in the pool.
3. Names are drawn from the pool using a list randomizer, to give people a fair chance.
4. People chosen from the pool are contacted to confirm their spot and give more in-depth information about their desired commission.
5. Invoices are sent and payment is collected.
6. Artwork is completed and delivered.
7. More names are drawn from the current pool, the process repeats.

I close access to the form once the pool is full, right now I'm maxing it out at 20-30 names. After... two months or so, I'll clean out older forms in there, to make sure interested parties are current and, well, interested.

The reason I'm doing it like this is because it helps get rid of that first come, first served stuff. I've never been a fan of only making things available to people who happen to be able to check their computers frequently. While you still have to submit your name during a period of the pool being accessible, it's definitely a much bigger time window.

I keep the names of people I've drawn already, so that helps to avoid lucky repeat customers from getting drawn 3+ times in a row.

And now I'm off to work on more commissions. See ya!
