Patreon - I Wanna Make it More Successful by EbonyChimera

I'm just feeling a little bit discouraged atm. While I am grateful that I am able to get the support that I'm getting now, it just seems my ultimate goal of 4k a month will always be beyond my grasp unless I make some changes to my Patreon. I'm not really sure what I can do to get more support for it. I guess maybe some added themes to my pinups or something. @__@ Every time I do get an increase in Patrons, they all turn out to be fake patrons, and there's barely any sort of increase in the payout per month. I guess what I'm asking is what kind of stuff or strategies do you think would help get my Patreon more legit supporters? :o

Whether its like adding new kind of art or a comic, or theme to it....I've already started to add humans into the mix, and that seems to be helping a little, but any kind of suggestion would help at this point.

Wish I could help but I don't know much about using Patreon yet. Do you know what is your biggest seller or attention grabber on Patreon? If so maybe start from there and possibly branch out with it.

The problem is with different interests of people for things, some just want to support, many others want to see a specific theme of artwork or want to influence what is drawn based on canon stuff or what is actually a good thematic.
I for one am a bit... egoistic on that matter, I don't want to spend money without personal benefit, meaning art, be it a raffle or a doodle sketch lineart per month of character choice, be it OC or canon character.
I just am not a person who is very interested in HD versions of pictures or uncensored pictures or even seeing pictures at all because for all I mostly care is puting a fav on them and saving them in my correct folder and that's about it. I would feel that my money would be quite... wasted that way? (truth beeing said the only exception I would make is for the digimon art pack you are still working on (if I'm not mistaken) because it has my highest interest)
I don't follow your patreon very much but an added raffle for a supporters choice for a thematic or a comic or something? Interaction from supporter to artist is always a nice thing or the "free" art thing but that is tricky if too many people want that at once. So it's a so and so story owo
I have honestly no real idea what would definatly be a success... maybe just a wider spread, more pages you are on, making supporting more tempting to do? It boils down to more work uploading all stuff there as well but it would give you more exposure and more possiblities to get a hold of people.

      Raffles aren't allowed on Patreon.

Customized content. You gotta realize most of your supporters are probably avid commissioners, and everyone likes getting art of their character.

I never actually use patreon due to the fact I have a lot of subscribed things as is and its hard to keep up with one more thing. But one thing I have noticed is some people have to cater to what their followers are interested in. One example is an artist that does a lot of tutorial things for showing how they do certain things once a month for those that pledge and them alone while still giving that feeling of "no pay wall".
[something sadly a lot of people in the community think is a dirty thing and quickly burn at the stake for]

What is it that a lot of your followers are wanting? Could do certain projects that are just for you to show, I know comics are often cropped with teasing things placed up without a watermark like some people do, to show those that might be interested in something you do in your free time as a personal thanks to people, while you still put your other stuff out for display. Could even ask some other artist that are using it what they would suggest and so on if you feel comfy with that.
[I could link you to someone that does the comic thing privately if you would like]

Otherwise keep up the good work and don't feel down over things. You do an amazing job, I honestly wish I could be more support than a like and share.
