I was going to post a YCH today, but I didn’t realize what time it was so now it’s a little late
But I’ll be posting it tomorrow over on FurAffinity!
It’s an awful sketch because I used my old tablet and laptop instead of my desktop and cintiq to avoid getting teased by the painter’s assistant (who still teased me but at least he didn’t watch me draw, ugh)
So yup, there’s that tomorrow!
I will only be accepting bids on FA this time! I always end up messing something up, so I’m trying to keep it simple to avoid confusion…for myself…because I’m awful
I’m also going to open some themed slots instead of regular commissions or another YCH
I was going to make the theme a YCH, but I decided to just make it themed commissions instead since I’ll probably need to make more than I thought to cover the mortgage…yaaaay…
Both the YCH and the themed slots will be worked on after I finish my current queue! So only bid or get a slot if you can be patient, please please please TT^TT
I’m stuck working at my laptop until they’re finished with the painting because that guy is just awful and I’m too sensitive to put up with him constantly teasing me about my art while I draw, so I just hide in another room and poke around on my old tablet and CSP
I hate to take on more commissions when I’m already so far behind, but we’re really tight on money and this is all I can do right now…
Hopefully our house will sell soon, because this mortgage is ridiculous and I’d much rather have a smaller more manageable place
ANYWAY!
Enough complaining!

I know he meant well, but it just got annoying...I was drawing a furry guy on the first day and he kept teasing me about how I was tracing (doing the lines over my sketch) and just generally teasing about my art, which I'm already super self conscious about. Then I decided to move into the backroom where the couch and TV is and drew on my laptop with my old tablet instead, and he started teasing me about being a hermit and staying in my vampire cave and ugh, it was just annoying TT^TT He was a nice guy, I'm just overly sensitive and hate being teased when I'm not friends with someone. My friend loves to tease me all the time, but I've known him for years so it's ok! But when some random guy I've known for a few minutes gives me a hard time just no thanks. Eric's longtime friend was the main painter and he kept telling me I'm free to hit him whenever I want lol

I'm sorry, that would be super uncomfortable. And you aren't oversensitive! Getting picked on is never really fun, even if it is intended to be playful. Unless it's like with your friend, where you have known each other forever and what have you.
And I'm going to Fur the 'More x3 they changed locations (apparently) this year to somewhere that is only 3 hours from where I live, so it will be a good introductory experience to see if I want to make the time/save the money for others that are farther away, I suppose haha.
It will be my first furry convention :3

Yeah, exactly! Like I said, one of my friends loves to tease me, but I've known him for almost 5 years now and I worked with him so it doesn't phase me. But some random guy? Ugh.
Oh that's so cool! I love the name, that's fantastic lol I've never been to a furry convention, I'd love to go sometime. I've only been to one anime convention, and then every year we go to FanExpo in Toronto which is a huge convention for all sorts of fandoms, mainly sci-fi/anime/horror. Conventions are so much fun! I hope you have a great time! :D

I'd tell the person bugging you to eff right the hell off, but that might be harsh... How are they teasing you, if you don't mind my asking? And I'd love to help out this time, but I have to save money for a convention happening soon :x
