That’s right. You heard it right. Friend’s day. Not Valentine’s day.

Where rest of the world seems to go very much berserk over just one day. People in relationship pull drama over; that bitch didn’t remember what day it is! When some bitter individual single people spent ridicilous amount of hatred and envy to blast off how one day of the year sucks and should be banned because in deep down they are just jealous of others being happy; single, taken or not interested alike.

Honestly it seems to be rather dangerous day if you ask me. That amount of drama. =..=

In Finland they really did try to shovel this commercial lover’s and all love celebration day down into people’s throats and what happened? People adopted it into celebration day of friendship instead. Here people remember their friends with greetings, greeting cards, candy. Do they also hang out with their friends a bit more today and do something fun together? Yes they do.

Surely there are some couples spending it, TV channels are most likely to show some boring syrup coated crap... but nobody needs to watch that if they don’t want to. There’s movie services around, DVD’s, Blu-Rays, etc to pic something better to watch, right?

So, how is my Friend’s day going to be? Well.. I’ll pester most of my friends and some of my relatives with the annoying greetings just as I have done every year.
Almost all of my friends live rather far away so spending time together means hanging online talking via Skype and gaming. I might watch movie or two, read a book or doodle. Basically spending just another normal Sunday.
