Before I ask an admin by Pissy Badger

Has anyone else not been receiving notices of watch list uploads? For instance, I watch Todex, but I didn't know he uploaded anything until I went to his page, same with many other people I'm watching.

I'm getting the same issue with some of my watch list. I don't know someone posts something, until I just happen to be going through all the new uploads on the main page and see that there is something new from someone I watch.

Yeah, that's how it's working for me, too.

Things people upload that are visible to friends only will not show up when they are being made visible for everyone. I think!

Ummm I trick the system by uploading all new things as 'friends only' first - and only later make them visible once I can be sure that they're not on the frontpage anymore :P I don't want people to see my old artwork there! So at least in my case SO FAR this has been done on purpose!!

I get the notifications when YOU upload new art just fine, Mr. Badger!

Ah, but that would mean a lot of people are putting their works into friends only, which is quite possible, I guess. But! I was seeing your stuff on the front page, but not in my submissions area.

Yeah I made 'em visible when some were still on the frontpage. And really I don't think there's an issue with the notifications :V

Testing this. Do you see the upload notification of a picture with a wasp in your inbox? I uploaded that as non-friends only. Where as the other pics I just uploaded should not show up.

Well I'll be fucked, it worked. So anything marked as friends only will never show up to regular followers, I guess, even when they're later set to regular Followers. Thanks for the help, eh!

            Yep :D And no probs!

      Actually, they're still not showing.

It might be the friends-only thing, but there's also one other setting that does this.

Have you checked your default followed user settings in Site Preferences? There you can check which types of their submissions you want to show up in your inbox. For users you already follow, you'll need to go to their individual settings under People-Followed Users.
