ATTENTION: Amendment to Player Holdouts by FHL

Heyo to all GM, Players, Agents and Fans of the FHL. I hope you are doing well, and the commissioners have a quick announcement to make.

As the commissioners were looking at the current rule set with Player Holdouts, and the current situation with a player in them, it has come to our attention that in the current situation the team that is in the releasing/trade position of the player is in a major disadvantage when it came to trading/releasing the player with the current ruleset. As a way to correct that, the commissioners have voted to make a amendment to the rule, effective immediately. The amendment is as follows:

On reaching the two week deadline:

If a team is unable to complete a trade for the player by the two week deadline, the player is released to waivers, as if a Free Agent. However, should a team wish to pick the player from waivers, the acquiring team must surrender a pick in next years draft to the releasing team equal to the value of the player, as determined by the Commissioners.

If anyone has questions or comments, please let us know.
