New Year, still half-fixed suit by FurryJackman

Yup, New Year has come, suit is still half-fixed.

Re-applying the patch yielded less material to work with somehow, despite the surface area of the backing being more than the person that got high's patch. Top stitch is in, bottom stitches to close up the patch are not in.

Only way to fix less material to work with is to move the stitch lines on the backing... But Mom still doesn't know how to do the 2nd half of the patch, with gradual tightening of the thread instead of immediate tightening.

Also, if you saw my Howloween photo, currently my avatar on FA, There's an awkward angle on my left cheek that now requires a longer patch to fix, cause it was along the entire length of the side of the face. This needs to be stitched in without opening the seam.

I did work out I needed dual lock velcro for a pillow at the back of the head. I need to work out how to engineer that so the straps I used can't be felt behind the wig.

I will stress once again nobody in my local area that is a professional fursuit maker has offered or has accepted to help at all. The only one I didn't ask is Scribble, but there's a big reason why I'm not asking Scribble: He has a 5 year queue.

Still, too much uncertainty looms. This doesn't put me at ease.
