Zuri used to be a normal cheetah. Actually, she was a normal LOOKING cheetah but her personality was anything but ordinary. While other cheetahs just thought of their speed as a means of catching food and survival, Zuri genuinely enjoyed running for the fun of it.

One day, she found some running shoes that were just laying around in the middle of the savannah. It turned these shoes were enchanted since they attached themselves to her feet. They turned her into an anthro sprinter complete with a track and field outfit. She later found out that the shoes choose her because of her love of running.

She can change back to her feral form by taking off the shoes although she can remain anthro with bare feet until she chooses. To change into an anthro again, she needs to put on the shoes.

Fun Fact: Her name means "beautiful" in Swahili.
