Moxie is a combination of my love and passion for the Pokemon and Splatoon series of games -- a Meowstic that is also part Inkling! As such he can change forms between Meowstic and squid. The white dots on the ears, cheeks, arms, legs, and thighs are chromatophores much like real squids have. His fur is translucent and reflects light similar to that of a polar bear. These features combined let him change the color of his fur! That said, anyone who want to draw him can make him any color they like!
