Astro, a calm, patient and unfaltering researcher of the stars, is dedicated to solving the dilemma of The Ravel's dwindling energy source which powers the land's infrastructure. She believes that a new energy source lies beyond the stars, while her colleagues disbelieve her despite her shining track record of previous contributions to the field of astronomy.

Residing in an observatory on the reclusive Looming Highlands, she rarely entertains visitors but is willing enough to share her home and findings with any plucky traveller who braves the mountain blizzards. As she is mute, she communicates through sign language and writing.

Astro's companion, Sentinel, keeps her loneliness at bay and assists her with her research.
