Usually, Being kidnapped and experimented on against your will is a bad thing. Usually turning green and growing an extra set of arms could be cause for concern. But for Ellan, It was opportunity knocking at her door.

An avid outdoorswoman, Ellan loved exploring the reaches of the earth whenever she had the time. When college would go out for summer, the first thing she would do would be to schedule a trip to some outlandish local and exploring the many wonders the area had to explore. But her constant trips away from home and tendency to travel alone made her a prime target for Synthex, who snatched her up and tested one of their new mutations on her.

While the experience was certainly frightening, Ellan was quick to realize that her extra arms and increased strength would allow her to explore nature even better than before! And now that she was an abomination of science, she needed not worry about a trivial human matter like schooling! Why go learn how to do math while being treated like a less than human mistake when you could enjoy your passion in even more ways than ever before!

Luckily, the heroes were quick to break Ellan out of the Synthex lab she had been held up in. Ellan thanked them for their help of course, but it was obvious she had placed to be and sights to see. The heroes, not wanting to risk the panic that would come from civilians seeing a 4 armed, green woman trekking down local hiking trails, objected to her leaving. After a heated talk and maybe some fist-to-face action, it was agreed on that Ellan would be a good fit for the heroes new "Wanderer" program; A new class of hero who would go out into the world and try to stomp out Synthex in their more obscure areas of influence.

Now with her hobby backed up by a mission of justice, Ellan set off into the world, ready to fight her previous captors in even the most robust locations. It wouldn't matter if it was in the heart of death valley, or the top of Mt Fuji, where-ever they dared hide, she would go!
