• He's the only child of two Prism Island volunteer aid workers, and grew up tagging along and helping his parents deal with the aftermath of various Rocket attacks and island tragedies. He's a skilled first-aider, and was taught a lot of basic (and not-so-basic) 'morph medical skills by his medic father.

• His involvement in his family's work has influenced a lot of his current life, in ways both beneficial and detrimental. He's quick to rush to anyone's aid and provide assistance where needed, and he's empathetic and open-minded where other 'morphs might not be - after all, everyone has their story and everyone deserves help and a listening ear. But a life of prioritising other people's care has led him to be too self-sacrificing, and unwilling to admit when he needs help. Drew is so scared of being a burden instead of a helpful figure that he hardly ever voices his own problems.

• He speaks very quietly most of the time, and tends to struggle to make eye contact in social situations. It can be quite surprising for someone who's only known him like this to see him in 'helper mode' - he takes on an air of calm, direct assertiveness that is absent in him the rest of the time. He also tends to fuss with his hands or clothes when anxious, which is most of the time. You can tell which hoodies he wears the most by the fraying at the cuffs where he's rubbed the threads apart.
