History as currently known:

Was born to Flyri, a kangaroo, before her death after giving birth. Grew up an only child for earlier half of life under the care of his father Bomeran in the peaceful Land Province village of Emergant . His family is highly respected there and his father took over the elder position after the Tri-Societal War making him next in line to take the title.

Peaceful by nature, almost to a fault, he does not harm others even when they harm himself. This makes him a target of a few hoodlums in the village such as Fangstro and his gang.

He is comfortable with the way he is, despite his friends and family’s encouragements to act differently. His stubbornness in the unique views he has on things sometimes winds him into trouble. Despite his despise of causing physical harm he is not mushy with his words and tends to speak his mind, to friend and foe alike.

The kangaroo is about to go through the process know as the “Transition” and is in the "Age of Transition", a time when his people come of age and are gifted magical abilities by their deities that are typically called “The Powers at Be”, or “The Powers” for short. We join Garoo on his journey to discover who he is, and who he is destined to become.
