This reference sheet may not actually be the best as showing Max's features, since his outlaw getup may make his anatomy and clothing a bit confusing, particularly at the back . . . but hopefully it still gets the general idea across. I did start making an ordac species reference ages ago that I need to get around to finishing, because that would probably help make more sense of this. Someday!

On the subject of outlaws, I don't want to bore you with a whole lecture on Illupian culture and society, so let's just say that undertaking outlaw training is not as strange in Illupia as it may sound. Basically, in order to be a legal Illupian citizen, you need to be certified in one of nine "skill classes" (you can think of them as sort of like RPG character classes). You are expected to undergo training in your chosen skill class throughout adolescence so that you can become fully certified by the time you reach adulthood, thus enabling you to contribute to society. One of these skill classes is "outlaw", and is considered just as important to the balance of society as the other eight. The classes are solely based on your skills, not what you do with those skills, so being an outlaw doesn't automatically mean you're a criminal.

Pince Max's mother referred to in the last paragraph of the reference is of course Queen Giselle, which I think makes them the only two blood-related characters from this story whom I've submitted pictures of. Maybe I should get around to doing pictures of the main characters' families someday . . .

Max Silverwing and ordac species belong to Adventurer
