Loss is a sort of guardian spirit, looking after a large region and taking care of its denizens. Pictured is their physical form, although in their home realm they're more ethereal without much shape or substance. They're called a dragon in their setting, although that label applies to any being that originates from beyond the veil. As a dragon, they're a physical manifestation of thoughts, feelings, and concepts and sustained by people experiencing them. In typical fashion of a more complex dragon, Loss encompasses a range of concepts and emotions although they will always be centered on their namesake. This particular Loss is a more passive creature, who prefers to comfort people instead of taking a more active role in causing loss.

They live in a sort of shrine on a hill where people go when they're feeling lonely or lost. Loss is a great hugger and loves having people cuddle up in their fluff. Their giant claws can be off-putting for some people, but while Loss can look scary they wouldn't hurt anyone.
