Is it a form that Laistrygon the sorcerer takes or is it his dark desires taken on a tangible form... or, perhaps, something more? No-one knows for sure, but it is hunting, it is stalking, and the prey is you.

Unlike Laistrygon who is indubitably male, the Enigma Beast's sex characteristics are a mystery, and it has no preference in gender, but some might consider it to be a mix of feminine and masculine personality aspects. It is highly intelligent and can speak. It is capricious and appears to primarily seek to gratify its own predatory desires.

It can phase in and out of existence like a Cheshire cat and its dark coat absorbs all light, but at a specific kind of lighting one could see intricate markings in its fur.

Its species is also a mystery. Might you know where it's picking up elements from?
