Background:
After a normal childhood with loving parents (an only child), Delilah met her now-ex husband Alex while studying at polytechnic. They fell head over heels in love with each other and were happily married for several years until Delilah had a miscarriage of their first (and only) child, rendering her unable to have any more children. This – and the death of her father around the same time – drove Delilah into a deep depression and nervous breakdown, which fatally damaged her relationship with Alex.
