Fern is a Merlocian, part of a closed species owned by Rixie the Vamprycan.

He is very upbeat, bouncy and happy, as he is a water dweller he loves to do tricks underwater like rolls and handstands and such, he is very playful and acts like his age which is rather young. He loves to hide in the ferns underwater and jump out and scare other sea creatures swimming past. His brother is a moody grump but he does his best to joke around and make him smile, they are opposites but care for each other.
