He cares about Katry more than he cares about himself since she has saved his life about 3 times. They are very close friends that spend most of their time with each other.

when he goes out, he puts on his wig and his eye contacts to hide the fact he's an albino, he also tends to hide his neck scars with make up or scarf but when he goes swimming, he doesn't wear any of that

Kio's best friend, and the closest person is Katry.
Kio wanted to dye is hair in brown color at the first time but Katry didn't like that idea because it would ruin his true self. He agreed that he would wear wig instead of dying his hair.
Kio's only living family is his father. Kio hates his father though, doesn't even consider him as his father anymore because he has killed the rest of his family (his sister, his brother and at last, his mother).
Kio was very close with his mother, you could say he was her favorite child. She had taught him various things before she got killed such as cooking, first aid, close combat, how to stay calm, playing on guitar, sewing, survival, ....
When Kio talks about his mother, he often says she was the most amazing and strongest woman he has ever met. He tends to compare Katry to his mother.
