Always a simple girl, bella spend most of her time at school, or in the company of her older brother. Her parents had died in a car crash long ago, so her brother cared for her most her life. One day, he and bella were out in the city park, when they were hit by the bio-corp blast. A few days later, bella and her brother changed into cow and bull mutants respectively. Bella did not take the change very well, having trouble dealing with the quirks of her mutation. Wanting to help her in anyway he could, her brother sought out the heroes that had been saving people around town, and asked if they could help. Seeing the trouble bella was in, the heroes took them both in hopes of helping in anyway they could. After learning to cope with her mutation, bella offered to help new mutants deal with their mutations, and joined double helix as hero support.
