Dwyn joined the military as soon as she was old enough and quickly rose through the ranks, and is an excellent engineer. She's a commander in the same army of which Rauri, her little sister, is a member.
Dwyn loves to argue, hates being wrong, and has gotten into trouble plenty of times due to her hotheadedness, which seems to run in the family. She's mellowed out over the years, though, and now has more of a tranquil fury thing going on, much like her mother. This has helped her retain her military status.
She remains amazingly calm and sometimes even jovial in the face of danger or tension, and her levity is often mistaken for immaturity or naivete; in fact, she's extremely sharp and more often than not, she knows what she's doing (although she tends to become overconfident and screw up anyway). Lighthearted as she may be, she is still a very competent and caring commander.
She also loves to drink.
