• in her human form, Valarie has no unique powers. she is in ever right human. aside from her skills as an acrobat, she has nothing inhuman about her.
• hellspike on the other hand, has increased strength and durability, night vision, claws, glowing spikes, higher then average intelligence and cunningness (not to say Valarie is dumb). it also has a great ability to think of strategy and to come up with solutions.
• Valarie situation is unique, as hellspike is the dominant form. hellspike has the ability to make Valarie transform into it at will. it can also manipulate her memories, making it so Valarie never knows she is the beast. even though valarie is the original form, hellspike uses her as a disguise, to make sure no one knows how to find it. hellspike is also very brilliant at what it does, so out smarting it is very hard.

• little is known on what goes on inside this beast's head. all that there is to know is that it is heartless, cruel, manipulative, evil, vile, and thoughtless, and only lives to kill all who oppose its master. unlike most people in this universe of mutants, Valarie really has no story of her own. the story really belongs to her brother and hellspike. her brother, wanting to reform the evil organization known as synthex, mutated valarie and created hellspike to serve him. he uses it to take out key figures and to help move his plan forward. hellspike does what it is commanded. though one might think it would not be one to follow orders, its personal motivation is to see the pain it inflicts on its victims. showing no remorse or compassion, its only pleasure is to kill. the 2 manipulate valarie, using her as nothing more then a cover for their plot. though, valarie is completely unaware of any of this. from her point of view, the only story going on for he is trying to make herself to biggest star of the acrobatic world with the help of her brother, while also looking out for that hellbeast that is lurking around town.....
