Revas, meaning 'Freedom' has not been free at all. His clan had been destroyed by slavers who killed or enslaved most of his people. Revas was a kid back then and fell into the slavers hand at the age of eight. They saw that he's a mage and decided to sell him to the Circle in Ferelden. Someone - it's unknown if the Temple Mages or the Slavers did it - wiped his memory with blood magic, so he grew up in the Circle of Magi ever since and didn't remember his past.

Fortunate or unfortunate circumstances let to his outcast fate.Right after his Harrowing he was taken on by a talented young Magister who decided to use his knowledge about elven language to venture out into the countryside of Ferelden and investigate an old elvhen artefact. Only the magister was a bnlood mage and used Revas blood to waken the magic of the artefact and when things went wrong, he blamed Revas to be the source of the blood magic, when the Templars came to the party.

Revas was not sentenced to death immediatelly, but should be dragged back to the Circle for trial. A bunch of MErcenaries who had originally been paid to steal the elvhen artefact, freed him. Kal, the Red Blade's leader who is a Dalish himself, decided to take Revas on and make him a part of the crew - so his adventure began.

Revas is slowly accustomizing to a life outside the circle. His contact with the elvhen artefact left him scarred and actually in lliason with a spirit. Scared to death that he might become an abomination, he doesn't yet understand, what a Spirit Warrior really is...
