Wilberforce is one of four kittens rescued by Sterling during a bad storm.

Wilberforce is just that; a purring ball of loving, caring energy. He will curl up on anyone's laps, across their shoulders, onto whatever they're reading or doing, he will just flop over and look up expectently with an expression that simply states "Pet me".

When he's not demanding love and attention, he's busy whittling the day away by purring or kneading on people's laps. He loves the simple pleasure of curling up on the windowsill, or on the dining room table, on a chair, on a bookshelf, by the fire, wherever he can find a space, he will flop over and just openly purr like an outboard motor.

He's shaping up to be a big cat, he towers over his brothers and sisters, but comes only a close second to Sterling's size. He has the greatest of respect for Sterling, and will clear a space for his elder when the nights are cold. He's not too fond of dogs or other creatures, utmostly he's wary of those he doesn't know or recognise, but when it comes to Casper, Corbin, Rhubarb and Aurealis, he is just the most relaxed cat.

He tolerates a lot of upheaval, which is great for VJ when she's away for long periods of time. Wilberforce tends to put himself up on VJ's bedroom desk, stretch out and watch his mistress for a period of time before he falls asleep. He's always the first one awake the next day, as he's VJ's personal alarm clock - his purring is that loud.
