Huntley is one of four kittens Sterling rescued during a bad storm.

Of the four, Huntley is the most playful. He doesn't bat an eyelid at any of VJ's other pets and gets along fine with everyone. He does appear to have been subjected to a high dose of Phylendrosel (also known as "fur dye"), an illegal drug used to permanently alter an animal's genetics in the womb, as attested by his 'flame-point' colouration. He bears no ill effects from it.

Huntley is mostly content to be wherever Corbin and Rhubarb, VJ's two canines, are. Unlike the other felines, he has no hesitation in chasing a ball or a laser pointer or joining in with the rough and tumble wrestling the two dogs do. He enjoys goading and playing tag with Corby and Rhu a lot.

His place in the pecking order is with his two canine friends. He will hang back and wait his turn at the food bowls, or he will be in the kitchen, on the counter, patiently waiting for VJ to give him samples of whatever she's making for herself. He seems intently fond of snacking on oddities, peaches, seedless grapes and cheese are three of his favourite foods. He's not above swiping food from Corby and Rhu's foodbowls either.

Whenever VJ works late, Huntley is usually the one meowing when it starts getting too late (2am), and will nudge, nip and purr loudly to get VJ to go to bed. He's a bit of a mother hen in that sense.

His place in VJ's bedroom is curled up with Corbin and Rhubarb, right by their mistress's feet.
