Quentynn was one of four kittens Sterling rescued during a bad storm.

Of the four, he was the most badly hurt; whatever had happened to them prior to Sterling happening upon them had left Quentynn with some permanent neurological and bone injuries and a limp in his back leg as a result. Despite what he has to live with, he is surprisingly active, and has a fondness for catnip-filled mice toys and annoying Sterling on a daily basis.

Quentynn is a purring ball of energy, though VJ is insanely careful to not leave anything lying around the floor as he tends to run directly into whatever's in his path and not know how to combat the situation. Most of the time he's a sociable cat, but he's always on watch because of his conditions. When VJ is at work, Quentynn is often left securely in the custom-built ground-floor cat run in the spare room. He doesn't seem to mind being left in there as he tends to make his own fun.

His favourite place is to wander amongst the house, into whatever crooks and crannies he can find, or curl up on whatever VJ's attempting to read or use. He's a bit of a troll in that sense :)
