Vesper is a critter that has been brewing in my head for a long time, but first manifested as a dragon character on the MMORPG "Istaria" (originally known as Horizons). I have also made her into a gryphon for the Deviantart group "Windsonde".

As a dragon, she is a typical western style critter, intensely blue in color, with a frilly face and a pointed snout, and her head sports two horns that curve back then up again. She's got them draped with various random necklaces, trinkets, seaweed, and who knows what else. At one point her friend put a bromeliad on her head and somehow it's just been there ever sense. As a gryphon, she appears as above. Her avian parts are based on a pied harrier, and her butt end is generally "cat".

Both forms have intense, staring, slightly misaligned bright orange eyes.

Vesper is a weirdo, quite simply. She seems to take great joy from every single thing in life and is (perhaps disturbingly) happy, in a creepy always-grinning way. There is a distinct impression that something isn't quite wired right upstairs. She is ALWAYS happy to see you. She seems to have an obsession with fish and anything that comes from the water, which doesn't make a whole lot of sense. It's not unusual for her to have dead fish (or other critters) with her at any given time, and she talks to them as if they were close friends. Fortunately she doesn't seem to carry them with her once their odor becomes offensive. Her voice is buzzy, trilling, and she seems to speak in a broken mix of (English) and another language. She has been known to push fish scales into the earth, "planting" them, even though she seems to know that they will not actually grow any fish.
