Geno Maxwell is a freelance scientist who owns and operates a private laboratory. "Maxwell Laboratories", as it is known, generates a steady stream of income from those who wish to reap the benefits of its immoral research.

The violent nature of Geno's work has lead some to call him a "mad scientist", but he currently has no plans to take over the world. His research consists primarily of creating chemicals which can alter living beings. These "potions" can perform such feats as increasing/decreasing size, temporary mind control, full body transformation, etc.

Selling off these concoctions can fetch quite the cash sum, but they must be tested prior to shipment. Due to the lack of willing test subjects, Geno forcibly volunteers hundreds of people each year to fill the role. Because the data from these tests cannot be leaked, subjects are "disposed of" after they've been used. Most subjects are eaten, but others find themselves flattened under-foot or otherwise mangled beyond recognition. It would seem that Geno attains immense pleasure through this disposal process, raising the question of whether he's in it just to kill others.

In a one-on-one setting, Geno can come across as very sinister and dominant, especially within the lab. His high intelligence allows him to predict another person's actions and read their emotions. Often times he will intentionally tease his test subjects to batter their will, then devour them once they are broken.

Interestingly, in a public setting, Geno is typically pleasant to be around. He has a good sense of humor and is easy to converse with, especially over a good meal. Those he considers to be his friends will find that he can be incredibly caring, and they can rely on him without any uncertainty. People who dare to cross Geno or his friends usually wind up in his lab, doomed to become a mere data point and dessert topping.
