When a Japanese superhero series was cancelled, all of the costumes and props - including the rubber monster suits - were sold at auction. One particular costume, of the monster known as "Kenodo", was sold to a rich, eccentric collector from the United Kingdom. A long-time fan of the show in question (or at least its dubbed Western counterpart), the collector snapped up the chance to own the costume of his favourite monster from the show.

However, upon returning to his home country, the collector found out too late that he had bought more than he bargained for. One day, on a sudden child-like urge, he decided to don the costume. However, once he was inside it, the suit sealed him inside, all trace of any opening vanishing. The suit was alive, and it bonded with the unfortunate collector, whose skin became the costume, changing him until he was completely the monster known as Kenodo, all trace of his human identity gone. Now brought vividly to life, the monster terrorises a world where no power on Earth can stop him.

Kenodo is a beast of a creature, able to change from his regular size of around 8' tall to around 1500' (certainly taller than the highest skyscraper), with the use of certain catalysts such as serums. The swords he wields are actually created from his bones; he possesses incredible regenerative abilities, and embeds the blades within his back when he's not using them. Other blades such as punch-daggers can be formed from his body on a whim. When close to him, one can faintly detect the smell of foam rubber, betraying his origins as a living costume.

Image by Eda Eda, who did a fantastic job bringing this new character to life! The design was inspired by the character "Dragon King", from Kamen Rider Skyrider. Unless Google Translate has been lying to me, the name is derived from "ken", the Japanese word for "sword", and "komodo", as in komodo dragons.
