Meet Filth.

He's a Monster--not a monster, but a Monster, the kind with no Name. Incapable of speech except for a single word--thus his 'name', spoken simultaneously via any mouths that are not currently occupied--his intelligence is uncertain.

Those arms of his are actually highly extendable, however, and all three sets of jaws are capable of biting through the hull of a wooden ship, amongst other things.

He can and will eat anything he gets in those jaws.

Because he is not truly 'alive,' Filth cannot die, and like all of his kind, he is made not of flesh but of some kind of compressed matter and contains nothing--no organs, no brain, no blood. As such, there is no limit to his elasticity, and he can in fact fit through just about any opening, no matter how small.

Combined with his effectively insatiable consumption of the world around him (trees, people, rocks, stretches of road, etc.), he'd make a very effective bogeyman.
