Born in Gothenburg (Göteborg) in Sweden to Jakob and Sara Johansson, Isak had a fairly normal life growing up. Thanks to his size and natural strength and speed, Isak quickly got the suggestion to try out American football in school during a recruitment drive for the local team, which saw him quickly take interest in the sport. Thanks to friends also playing and his growing interest, Isak put more and more time into the sport until at the age of 15 he got sent off to the US. His father Jakob had some connections of his own, having played for a college team in the States and still having stayed in contact with his former coaches and teammates. With a little bit of finagling, Isak was able to go to to high school in the US, getting to play proper high school football. His somewhat lacking language skills - Isak had never been an ace student, although he certainly wasn't stupid - made things difficult at first, but with time he learned that too. He made a name for himself, soon called The Viking on the field.

When it came time to graduate high school, Isak already had offers to go on playing for various colleges around the country. Mississippi, Alabama, Pennsylvania, Notre Dame, to mention some of them. After agonizing over his choices, Isak settled on Alabama, once he'd gotten the go ahead to actually stay longer in the country of course. Things went well, adjusting to college level play was tough but luckily didn't take him too long. Again he made a name for himself as a good player, The Viking was still there and taking names, so to speak. His studies went less splendidly, although he did manage. Far from an ace student, Isak did manage to scrape by enough that he could keep playing and in time graduate with a business degree.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, he had been scouted for an NFL team by the time that he graduated. Isak went on to play for the Chicago Bears thanks to his power when running and their love of running games. Unfortunately, things didn't go so well in the NFL. After a couple years of trying and attempting to play, Isak eventually retired. However, having spent several years in the US now and still with the ability to stay, the big stallion decided to do just that, remaining in the States Isak got himself a job as a farmhand and settled in.
