Another character from the planet of Uo, Troika is the improbable hybrid of two alien species--and when I say alien species, I mean they're actual aliens to each other as well as to us. Neither planet actually knows of the other. Nothing says "success" like being 50% a species that doesn't exist regardless of what planet you're going to be on, right?

I mean, there's a handful of people, but it's a pretty shitty handful, so. That's fun.

I could sit here and explain how this is possible (the empty/nonsense "dummy chromosomes" that Ynnwaw possess as a biological quirk) but the end result is one rather awkward looking hybrid who may or may not actually just be very well-sculpted froyo.

I can't remember all the details of his condition right now, but the innate magic of the Crutsu and the potential psychic ability of the Ynnwaw do not play well together, and instead of having proper elements like a real Crutsu, Troika instead has some sort of limited spatial distortion via his mind, which generally translates to 'psychic spatial head-explode.' He can distort anything in his visible space, honestly, but physical constructs don't actually handle that kind of thing very well--organic bodies especially. This makes him a great disappointment to his father, however--this and other things, like the fact that he's a weenie with debilitatingly low self-esteem and kind of a crybaby to boot. His father isn't physically abusive or anything--this is his SON after all--but he's pretty emotionally abusive, albeit without specifically malicious intent.

His mother died when he was small, but because she was an alien not meant for their planet, she became a terrible malignant spirit, which his father bound in a large metal ring. It’s pretty indestructable, which is helpful--but he's also got a metal ring for a mother, which is kind of emotionally taxing, especially when your father is a rigid, demanding asshole who you lock yourself in your room to avoid.
