I was never going to have one before i became a grooming bc expeeensiiive to keep up with, but now that i am a grooming i'm totally getting a standard eventually. I just wanna do all the cute haircuts on it, like the lamb cut or a german cut or just short all over with a big ol top knot like your girl because wow that's rly cute.
I just love a good clean face on a poodle. we don't have any poodles around here that get clean faces. just a toy that gets a semi clean face but still kinda fuzzy.
poodles. poodles and pit bulls are my favorite breeds.
i seriously need a poodle character.

we have too many poodles where i live, i eventually would like to own two males, along with a Pom and red Doberman. But that's a ways way from where i am now.
Where do you groom, if i can ask? A private store or company?

we have one standard that comes to daycare and he gets groomed on the semi regular but his mom doesnt want him to look like a poodle, ??!? i never understand it.
I think i'd like a female and a male poodle and haaa we'd like to have poms and a dobbie too. potentially a shiba inu. me and a friend joke that we'd get siblings from the same litter for the shibas but idk if we'll have one. BUT YEAH THATS FOREVER FROM NOW. we just have my little JRT mix and our Chihuahua. EVENTUALLY. I hope to only have to buy the poodles dobbie and shiba, and rescue all of our other dogs because i love rescuing. But i'm not above buying from responsible professional breeders.
i just cant decide what color for my poodles. theres so many choices.

For my poodles me and my partner decided on solids, black and white! The pom would be black and i mentioned the red Dobe. We also plan on getting a pair of Ragdolls/Muffins but by the we'll have a proper house with space weeps.
I plan on getting them from reputable breeders, but i wouldn't mind rescuing them either.
So you work at a Daycare as a groomer?

we want a black pom too and maybe a red dobbie. that's really funny ahaha. I love partis and the other colors like phantom, maybe i'll get a silver or gray though we'll see. I do love black ones, i'd love a white to be able to do cool dye jobs on, maybe i'll get a mini in white. we'll just have to seeee.
rescuing is awesome but i don't think its a black or white world with breeders vs rescues like a lot of people on both sides. its definitely a gray world for me.
crap i forgot to answer that, yes i work at a daycare/boarding place that does grooming and training as well. its a lot of fun, its family owned and everyone on staff is lovely. we have 48 acres of dog parks and trails for the members of our place to explore and have fun at, as well as two 1 acre ponds for swimming.

I don't mind either way, as long as my dog is good and healthy that's all that matters to me haha.
Huff that sounds p awesome, i didn't know they offered grooming services over there, might have to look more into that.

it is pretty sweet. all of our regular dogs are aweome too, we have a few dogs that get baths every week, luckily all of those guys are great for their baths.
