Stevick a Salty Haska, as intelligent as he is ambitious--and as ruthless as he is powerful. He's recently begun to make a name for himself politically, his keen strategic mind having already created something of a reputation outside of the star system he's based in. Manipulative and calculating, he's created a polite, insightful facade to work himself closer and closer to the heart of universal politics.

Given a taste for power, however, he's also been raising an army of living, breathing weapons with which to strike it. Which is incredibly unethical and also illegal.

It's also incredibly ironic. The Haska, as a GMO species, are not fully recognised by most of the universe. Most places grant them partial rights at the very least, but they exist in a strange legal and moral grey area; every species and planet seems to have a somewhat different stance on their rights and their existence.

Stevick is angry about that. He's angry and jealous--and his thirst for power--though truly selfish--is fuelled by more than mere selfishness. His stated goal is the righting of this clear wrong--improving the perception and treatment of the Haska as a species and ameliorating the difficulties and repercussions they suffer from their GMO origins.

If the rest of the universe only knew his desire for revenge--outmatched by his growing desire for the power to force his will. If they only knew.

Despite his ego, he really does seem to care for his people. He's just more than willing to be ruthless in his quest to help them.

In fact, he might even be eager.
