Born on a space station by a pair of scientist , Artica would find herself constantly seeking attention from parents who were too busy with their careers and too focused on their research than her. This attention seeking would cause others a great deal of mischief from her, often creating tons of miscommunication, mixed-signals, and sometimes unintended hurt feelings.

Ironically her constant craving for the attention from others has ironically left her in a state of constant personal solitude, especially in her personal life.

Artica is what is known as a Hybrid, a humanimal with an extraordinary power. Her's is the ability to control water molecules and manipulate their temperature at such a fine level she can animate those molecules and or create flash freeze effects. This Cryo-Hydrokinesis allows her to create all types of ice constructs which she can animate at will.

Due to some traumatic events in her life, Artica has decided to move away from her core group of associates and go it alone in the big city of New Genus, currently working a blue collar job as a diner waitress.
