The war spanned several years and though she was ultimately defeated she had garnered the attention of one of Hell's twelve Demon Lords, Magos. In trade for her soul Magos promised to give Tanyana the power she craved. He turned her into one of his Nyetmares.

Neyetmares are powerful demonic magic users who have become the earthly bound eyes of Lord Magos. It is their purpose to collect souls in any way possible for their Hellish Lord. They do that both with magic and the ability to enter the dreamscape where they are attracted to those easily seduced. It is in their dreams that the Neyetmare drives a sleeping soul into death or madness with the horrifying visions they plant in their victims nightmares.
