History:

Galaranth Eros Daytripper Pendragon was Born around 500 B.C.. There is no way to exactly prove when he was born as carbon dating & family records cannot empirically prove a finite date.

Galaranth is the son of a wayward Greek demigoddess named Volupta & the Great Red Dragon of Welsh legend. Volupta travelled away from her native birthplace of Thebes & met the saurian creature in what is today the borderlands of Scotland & England. His rogue charm & protective nature made her fall in love with the massive beast. In response to her own fondness of the great reptile, Volupta gave him an anthropomorphic form & a human one. Soon they formed a deep, romantic bond & made a family with their daughter Amaranth, & 400 years later, Galaranth.

Galaranth grew up a dragon furry, with his dad's open-minded, tough & rebellious nature & his mom's sense of kindness, loving, selflessness & brutal honesty. He often got along well with his older sister, Amaranth, who often helped him with the pains of growing up in ancient times. Gal's father began using his form to go out into the world & become a noble metalsmith. Volupta worked with him & helped manage the financial end.

Gal grew up with three friends: Linale, Morton & Vanessa, who which were all dragon furs. As Gal began hitting the age of adolescence, he formed his first relationship with Vanessa. At the same time, Amaranth had managed to start making a living as a local tavern owner in the village down the road, henceforth moving to her own place.

The happy, young drake enjoyed the relationship with Vanessa until suddenly a change hit. At around 1500 A.D. Gal began to hit adulthood. Unfortunately, his parents had to leave due to locals being too close to their home in terms of keeping their origins secret. As a parting gift, they gave Gal his second form, a Fenris Wolf. Gal had to leave his friends & Vanessa, but they made a promise to see each other once again. Gal headed into the Country of England & found a job as a local, naval tradesmen. After 200 some odd years of making deals with all manner of merchants, Gal ran out of options & headed towards English Royal Navy.

The wolf was stationed out on the frontier of the new world, battling pirates, French mercenaries & slimy cargo ship captains. After he had enough of his superior's cruel treatment, Galaranth Shanghai'd a group of malcontent officers & men & started a piracy business, looting Royal Navy vessels & all manner of transports under their guard. "The Red-Eyed Devil" rescued many free thinking women, nature spirits & such in that time, making him popular amongst oppressed minorities of every genre.

After the advent of the steam boat, Galaranth's piracy business had run it's course & headed inland to find new prospects. Despite the new formation of the United States Of America & the ensuing war with it's previous sovereign, Gal pushed upwards, staying in British North America, making his way to the prairies with a few faithful friends. Galaranth ran mercenary work looking for anyone who needed a bounty collected. The job was disagreeable work, but it helped pass the time until & through the confederation of Canada.

The wolf found a small town named Calgary & set up a shop there manufacturing various technologies of the day. Galaranth loved this job enough that he began to be a centre in the area for innovations regarding firearms, metallurgy & agricultural mechanics. As Calgary grew, so did his business. He began working on flight craft soon after the Wright brothers flew their first heavier-than-aircraft. Then war broke out.

Gal's operation tripled in size as the Allies called in service many of his mechanics. The dragon/wolf was pulled into service as an intelligence agent, often doing daring raids on enemy stockpiles insuring that the allies were still ahead of the game. After World War I, Gal's operation continued to expand commercially, outfitting aircraft, train engines & cars with experimental technologies. As World War II broke out, he & his burgeoning company were once again called into action as he & his cohorts teamed up with Military Intelligence to take the high tech fight to the Nazis. Galaranth [& co.] was awarded many distinguished accolades for his services for the allies. After the goose was noosed, Gal went back to his company, making it an empire over the next 60 years.

After such a history of governing an empire, Gal passed the torch to a faithful colleague & took the job as a head genetics & experimental technologies researcher. Gal gained great knowledge & genetically modified himself & his friends, giving himself a horse form, gecko form, improved telekinesis & mind control, polymorphous abilites (shapeshifting), Sizeplay abilities & physical endurance.

Today, he lives happily in an upscale apartment complex in NW Calgary, enjoying life with his friends, which includes Vanessa, who found him back in '76.
