Cybergenetic raccoons (also known as NanoKoons) are pretty much the size of your ordinary microchip. About three inches tall. Smaller models are used by companies to make work more efficient. They make great tiny pets and have a life expectancy of 5 years. They do not give birth. They're without gender due to being man-made and born out of test tubes. Thus making them biological and not mechanical. Sadly, they do eventually die. Obsolete models can be sent back to the manufacturer at no cost, and their DNA gets used for a new model.

They were made to get into the small, hard to reach places of tech equipment and do the labor on tech items that would normally need a powerful magnifying glass. Such as building microchips. They're immune to electrical shock and do not give off dander, therefore ensuring that your precious and delicate computer parts do not get all dusty!

They live off of electricity and battery power. Without electricity, they can survive for up to 5 hours. Afterwards, they "pass out" and needs to be recharged.

Their eyes, the ports on their suits, and the circular chip on their ears all glow that color, making them the PERFECT little nightlight.

What makes a NanoKoon obsolete is age and/or being outnumbered by their predator... The DunBust.
