When Takama was a feral kit, her dying mother went to a shrine dedicated to Inari (the androgynous god of foxes and rice) and asked the god to take care of her child since she could sense that her daughter had the potential to become a Kitsune. Inari agreed and took the kit to the Spirit World. The fox was raised up in a sheltered life. She was kind of an outcast since the foxes who served Inari were white and she had natural fur color (orange, black, white). At some point, she learns of her true heritage by Inari. (I'm avoiding pronouns because one of the jokes I am thinking of using is that no one knows Inari's true gender) She has returned to Earth to find her place in life.

Takama is serious minded and the leader of the trio but she is not stoic. She can have up to 9 tails but usually only has 1 to 3 tails out so that it wouldn't be so cumbersome. As a human, she is a beautiful (but not impossibly so) Japanese woman in her 20s. She can take the form of other human females but only for a limited time. She knows all about traditional Japanese culture. She may be skilled in martial arts or weaponry (possibly archery) but I’m not sure. She also has the ability to teleport short distances. While her diet is consistent with that of a fox, she does have a love for rice. You can thank Inari for that.
