[If you care at all...here's a little more info on her if curious enough...]

Powers/Abilities: She has the ability to give life [This also means she has amazing regeneration abilities]. Restoration. She gives life by glowing cyan wisp tendrils that can come reaching out from any part of her body (mostly/mainly her back).

This is giving up a part of herself to heal her allies/friends or those in need... This in turn can possibly kill her if not drain/weaken her depending on the amount she gives... Bringing someone back from the dead CAN/MAYBE kill her because there is always a price to give.

Family: Because she is not entirely 'born' with other beings...She has no family and often looks for people to care for...However, most often they use her generosity in kindness to gain in their own needs. She still searches for it though, not quite wanting to give in that fate might never be in her favor.

Feral Form:
[Will upload on Weasyl eventually]

Human Form:
....Might get it eventually.

Short Description: Serenity is a otherworldly entity of life or 'pure energy' that took on the shape of a female. If anything she would be considered a blinding ball of cyan light. She took form however. She is NOT a spirit of any kind but a manifestation of an essence, the essence of life given intelligence and personality. She is not an alien either, but since she is so...foreign and distant she could be considered as one. In truth 'she' is truly gender-less because of what she is.

"What most people do not understand is that the glow you see from her eyes, the glow within cracks on her skin and body is actually the real her that is peeking through the crevices beneath the shell, powering the body that you see, life. She IS the energy.

One Back-story: [Her story is supposed to fluid that can be for any setting, but I think I can put up one of them I had in mind. Hope it...kinda makes sense...]

Some say she became “alive” by a simple mistake in a magic spell or a live energy source from another dimension going through a tear in the rift, and in order for her to be not destroyed; she had to protect itself by taking form of the first being that got close. She first took form of a curious wolf but she was different than the rest and was looked at as an outcast, shunned.

The second form was actually a mistake. A being, a humanoid being came to contact with her when she was searching for a purpose all alone, but she did not know the difference or why. All she knew she was curious why it looked different than her. When she changed again it was unexpected but it seemed the humanoid was also shocked when she changed but kept her canine look almost completely.

Eventually the humanoid called her Serenity just because of how calm she always was, and how people and what seemed like animals a like felt comfort in her presence. Serenity soon learned how to communicate, different personalities, understand a little about how cultures work, and the fact no one knows what their purpose in life was right away. Everyone has to find it for themselves.

She took this in stride and sought out to find it… Years pass and age never touched her, but her humanoid friend grew old and was explained that with life there is death. Serenity did not understand this until the day her friend passed away… She felt her friend life slip away and then she understood until the loneliness without her friend made her realize sadness. Serenity missed her.

She cherishes the memories that she has now and will stride forward to make the most of life, give some life, and hopefully find her purpose to tell her friend when she also meets death...

[Last thing.... NO SHE IS NOT/DOES NOT REPRESENT ME!]
Unless there is an exception of a picture or with friends and it is personal. Otherwise, NO!!! Sorry! I just like how anthros look and how creative/fun that can be done with them! She is my most precious character I have ever made c:

March 10, 2011 is her creation date <3 Hope you all like her... She was my first ever anthro character and my only female anthro.

I'm going to draw this one day if it kills me...

Wha ;_; Well I will not expect anything, but if she one day inspires you... You're more than welcome... <3

You know, not a lot of furs can pull off the glowy look on their characters. It's either very very little or too much like they ate a pile of glow-sticks. I have to say this is a very beautiful character and I absolutely adore her. She's very well done, great design work on your end and Kudos to Nix for making her come to life.

Well, I am happy she is able to pull off the glow satisfyingly c: I am so thankful that you took the time to tell me this by commenting and it does mean a lot to me that you like her. Nix did a wonderful job portraying her and thank you again.

As a fan of bioluminescence, and just pretty girls in general, your character design has me floored. She's very pretty, and her colors blend and complement the glow really really nicely. Also that sort of crackled effect I love to bits, as DJTrance above me said, I think it's a perfectly balance of glow that accents your whole character and brings the design to life as more than the sum of her parts. <3

I also have to admit I usually don't make a habit of reading into people's character's bios, but I did for Serenity's and I'm glad I did. You put a lot of effort into it seems, and I like the personality she has and her powers, as well as her back story! It's kind of rare in my experience outside of published authors to see people try to make things actually be believeable, with drawbacks instead of just... pure power. So kudos, I love her!

This comment has floored me. I woke up this morning and your comment has just made my day. Argh, you make me overjoyed that my designing capabilities is not horrible ;w; I was hope the markings were not too much as I look back on it from time to time, but you and DJTrance proved to me that is not that bad as I think it is. Yeah, I am just gushing over your comment now, hope you do not mind.

I am honored that you took the time to read the rest of her infos and was not completely bored with it!!! It makes me feel I did something right if you liked it a lot! She is something I spent a lot of time and effort to make, especially with the one story I put and I am so happy that I cannot express that you did read and took the time to also comment... You flatter me so much but again I am thankful and honored. Yep! She has a lot of weaknesses with only two strengths. She is not perfect nor do I want her to be because that is pretty boring, but it does make her more believable, so true! Gosh ;____:

Thank you again, and I wish you the best in everything that you do.
      Also, have a good day/night <33333

Aw, it's not bad at all! I'm a little jealous compared to myself in some respects. x3 Or at any rate, at least jealous you've managed to find an artist that can pull the glows off so well, and I love that her darker coloration makes it contrast a lot easier and makes it "pop" more! Anyways, thank you so much for the kind words back! <3 Hope you have a good night too!

Gorgeous design! So often people make characters with surface designs that feel really arbitrary- not so here, it's all very cohesive and natural. Really well thought out and appealing, I like what you've done here.
