This is a character of mine that I haven't drawn in over a year, his name is Marv and he is a thing. He recycles stars. When stars fall out of the sky, he catches them or finds them, and he eats them, and then they pop up through his skin along his back, instead of going through a digestive system. His body repairs them, and in return, his body "feeds" off the stardust, and that keeps him going well enough that he doesn't need to actually eat to survive. As he swallows more stars, they shift backward to give the new one a space, and when they get to the very end of his tail, they pop back off again and go back up into the sky.

And that is my completely illogical explanation of Marv's existence. Here, have some more fun facts.

He's really big, like the size of a train, and while he doesn't actually have to eat anything to survive since he gets sustenance from the stars, he will eat things that make him angry, things that surprise him, or things he just doesn't like. And he REALLY doesn't like yetis, so he eats those a lot.

The stripes along his body can actually change to any color, similar to a chameleon, but the colors change according to his mood. The blue/purple coloring along the bottom is his preferred coloration, for when he is calm or content. The orange in the middle is if he were surprised or startled. And then up in the top left, a horrible eye-burning rainbow that I imagine would flash down along his body in changing colors, if he were mad or trying to frighten something by flashing neon stripes at it. Because a train-sized bald monster with six legs and six eyes isn't scary enough.

So yep that is my character conceptualization of Marv. I kinda really love him and I feel awful for drawing him in that disgusting rainbow vomit of stripes.
