In the far reaches of the Milky Way, on the Planet Zi, there exist metallic life forms that possess superior fighting skills. These are the Zoids. Warriors by nature, Zoids have been used as the ultimate weapons in an ongoing war between the Imperial Forces and the Republicans of Planet Zi.

After centuries asleep in a cryogenic hibernation capsule, Krow awakes to find that he has no memory of where he is. As he struggles to find who he is, he is swept up by the tides of war. Aided by a curious set of friends, and set against by mysterious enemies that seek to end his quest before it begins, he must forge enemies nations into allies before the entire universe is embroiled in a war that will end galactic civilization as we know it.
