My fursona and, eventually, a character I wish to develop more into a potential comic character - Khatsworth is a character who grew up alongside me over the years as my escape from reality when I needed it most. She's gone through a lot of changes over the years (as have I, too), but I'm fairly happy with this latest redesign.

She sometimes appears out-of-character with glasses in a more modern setting, usually when I use her as a representation of myself for gag strips, namely to make light of Real Life or gaming.

IC:

Khatsworth is a native of the world of Ere'Ador - a world that was shook by a cataclysm that flooded a lot of what used to be the surface world. Nobody is entirely sure of what happened, but the results relocated the Elves and Ferals who inhabited the world, and along with the new "sky islands", brought the humans along.

She was found unconscious in the sky town of Rikuza in her mid-teens, and has since resided there with a local tavern keeper who took her in. With no recollection of her past and plagued by nightmares, it took some time for her to return to a functional life and learn to live with the local townsfolk, and soon finds herself drawn to explore the world.

Being of the Tigris variety of Ferals affords her a natural strength that would make her an apt fighter, but the unknown circumstances leading to her appearance in Rikuza and a rare resistance to magic (which makes healing spells largely ineffective) have led her to take up self-defence training that emphasizes on a more dexterous approach. For that purpose, a friend she worked with designed the switch-glaive she uses.

While of a generally friendly disposition, she is impatient and sarcastic when tested, and often feels like she has something to prove to make up for the portion of her life she cannot remember and how weak she felt at first. She is prone to acting brashly and has issues when it comes to trusting other people.

Other OoC/IC tidbits/details:

For unknown reasons, Khatsworth has longer ears than other tigris ferals of Ere'Ador. The Fleur-de-Lys on her switch-glaive is a detail that was added by her friend, to jokingly commemorate some of the trouble she got into from getting snippy with the wrong people, and references a long-abandoned practice of criminal branding from human culture.

The notch on her lip is not a vestige from a ripped lip-ring, but a parallel to the same wound I have, a cut that never healed properly.
