This is a rough template. Certain details are flexible:

1. her pupils were originally a dark yellow, but I have been in the habit of doing them like "normal" eyes.

2. I tend to use darker colors and then add highlights, so her hair is a bit darker than original.

3. her toes- the first ref has 3 but I also use a normal human foot sometimes... but I've been going back to the 3 toe lately.

2014 edit:

Her main body color is a light tan (prismacolor pencil- beige)
with dark brown socks and some stripes (dark brown)
she has a prominent strip of floof running from her throat down her belly and bottom of her tail, light cream in color. (creme)
her eyes are a gold/yellow
her hair is long and a crimson color (crimson lake)
her horn is (Copenhagen) blue with sparkles

Species: An equine unicorn, but descended from forest dwelling three-toed group instead of grasslands dwelling hoofed group. They are native to the Americas.

Clothes: comfortable, like blue jeans, shorts, tank top- anything loose as long as not skirts or too frilly.

Personality: Despite being a bit rough sometimes, she’s naturally mostly sweet, sensitive and a bit shy. Her temper is slow to build up, but also slow to forgive. She tends to be very decisive when she knows what she wants.
Isn't very intellectual, but isn't dumb either.

Random: She’s ambidextrous.
fave color: blue or purple.
Favorite flowers: wisteria
food: likes spicy, citrus, sour fruits; avoids chocolate, sweet and salty things. likes all kinds of veggies but never eats meat- is mostly vegetarian.
drinks: likes anything citrus like Mountain Dew, margaritas and mojitos
likes to touch: fuzzy things, bugs with lots of legs, smooth rocks, moss.
Her floof is very sensitive, it's an erogenous zone!
Also she doesn’t like sticky things getting in it.

Spring: smelling the flowers, laying in sunshine, planting a garden.
Summer: swimming, playing with animals, chasing lighting bugs, picking berries, running around as naked as possible, walking in the rain.
Fall: pumpkin bread, cinnamon rolls, Halloween!
Winter: getting cozy with hot chocolate/tea/coffee in a sweater (and nothing else), sitting by a fire, hiding in bed playing video games (SNES and RPG), reading trashy romance novels, sleeping late on the weekend.
