Normally I don't draw fanart of games I haven't played yet, but I've been following the development of Yooka-Laylee very closely since its announcement in early 2015 and Capital B had "me" written all over him. I have friends joke that I designed this character in secret.

I mean, who can go wrong with a game that has a pinstripe-wearing giant bee with weird teeth as your main villain? He even has a honey-stirring stick as a cane. He's beyond cool.

Also I'm really stoked that Yooka-Laylee is getting a physical release. Even in the off-chance that Yooka-Laylee pulls a Mighty No. 9 and is completely and utterly disappointing, at least the character design and choice in color palettes is completely on point.
