OK, this is a song that came entirely from a silly phrase sloshing around my head. Don't look for any meaning in this, it's entirely wordplay. I think the main choir/organ part is subconsciously derived from the Coventry Carol, which to be fair, I am quite fond of.

Originally I was going to try and record the guitar lines by misusing the bass, and I might still do that. But for now I'm using the Hammond SK1's clavinet patch and it sounds nice like that.
A video short clip of how I did the backwards part is available here: https://twitter.com/tapewolf/status/975504540354203649
All editing was done with razorblades and luck. I'm not sure I'll be able to replicate it exactly for the final mix of the song.
I think the bass is a little off-tune in some of the earlier parts so that is something I'll have to look into before then.

Instruments used included:
Gem RPx Piano module
Hammond XM1 organ module with H&K Rotosphere
Hammond SK1 for pipe organ and clavinet
Aeolus organ synthesizer (on a raspberry Pi)
Roland MVS1, Roland JV1010
Manikin Memotron
Minimoog Voyager
Waldorf MicroWave
Alesis DM10
Steinberger XT2 bass
...and probably a few more I've forgotten about.

Recording was done on a TASCAM TSR-8, Otari MX80 and a Studer A807 for the final mix.
With apologies to Mr. McCartney.
